Thank you for that! Since fall semester started, I've been thinking about doing Children's Illustrations post graduation. I've looked it up as well and I'm just staggered by the awesome illustrations of so many talented artists, both the well established ones and the newly published. The competition is really crazy (and I must admit that I'm slightly cowed by it all) but that's my chosen career and by George I'm stickin' to it

Oh I'll gladly help. Let me start by saying I returned them the moment I opened the box. Here are my reasons:

They look nothing like the picture. At all. The gold straps are not bright and shiny, but a dull pale kind of gold. No shine. The wedge that looks like a light wood in the picture is a dark cherry-ish wood color. There were marks on the heel too, as if someone had thrown them around and they landed on the floor.

The rhinestones were decidedly not rhinestone-like - and by this I mean they don't have any bling! I could see where the glue coated the stones, specially on the sides.

There were cobwebs in the zig-zag spaces of the heel. (Cobwebs...?!!!! Really? That's what I thought too.)

It looked so CHEAP. I couldn't believe they charged that much for that. The workmanship was terrible and I could probably have picked up a better pair from Payless.

So in my humble opinion, they're not worth the money. You can see them for yourself, but it will be a hassle sending them back and waiting 2 weeks for a refund. I looked at the interior of the sandals, and even the place where the soles of your feet would rest had no support but a cheap canvas flower print glued on the wood. Now don't think they're bad looking - not totally. But for the price, they're not worth it. I'd grab them for $20, though.

Hope that helped!

I'm thinking about buying these, but I've heard some complaints about them (they look nothing like the picture) and I can't find a "real" picture of these shoes anywhere.

Can you please let me know what you thought of them and maybe send me a "real life" picture of these shoes?

Geez I'm asking a lot, but any help would be appreciated it. Even just a "NO, DON'T BUY THEM" OR "I LOVE THEM AND YOU SHOULD BUY THEM"

Thanks so much.
