Epic Sandals, at least in my opinion! The Two Lip Zig Zag Wedge.

I LOVE these shoes. I can't stress that enough. LOVE LOVE LOVE EM! I just ordered a pair from Victoria's Secret but they are backordered till mid June. Since I have some time to kill, I think I'll make a list of what I love about these shoes:
  • Their unique wedge ziggy zagginess
  • Gold (I mean, seriously, need I say more about gold)
  • Rhinestone-y thingies that make it spahhhhkle
  • It's skanky and flashy, and will definitely cause a stir. Yet QUITE tasteful ^_^ Oh the dichotomy!
  • 4 inch heels that make your calves and your butt pop (lol!)
So I think they're a good investment. The sad thing, however, is that I've been wearing flipflops for two years and I can't imagine wearing such fancy shoes in my Abercrombie/Hollister-wearing college.

I'm thinking about buying these, but I've heard some complaints about them (they look nothing like the picture) and I can't find a "real" picture of these shoes anywhere.

Can you please let me know what you thought of them and maybe send me a "real life" picture of these shoes?

Geez I'm asking a lot, but any help would be appreciated it. Even just a "NO, DON'T BUY THEM" OR "I LOVE THEM AND YOU SHOULD BUY THEM"

    Thanks so much.

Oh I'll gladly help. Let me start by saying I returned them the moment I opened the box. Here are my reasons:
      1. They look nothing like the picture. At all. The gold straps are not bright and shiny, but a dull pale kind of gold. No shine. The wedge that looks like a light wood in the picture is a dark cherry-ish wood color. There were marks on the heel too, as if someone had thrown them around and they landed on the floor.
      2. The rhinestones were decidedly not rhinestone-like - and by this I mean they don't have any bling! I could see where the glue coated the stones, specially on the sides.
      3. There were cobwebs in the zig-zag spaces of the heel. (Cobwebs...?!!!! Really? That's what I thought too.)
      4. It looked so CHEAP. I couldn't believe they charged that much for that. The workmanship was terrible and I could probably have picked up a better pair from Payless.
So in my humble opinion, they're not worth the money. You can see them for yourself, but it will be a hassle sending them back and waiting 2 weeks for a refund. I looked at the interior of the sandals, and even the place where the soles of your feet would rest had no support but a cheap canvas flower print glued on the wood. Now don't think they're bad looking - not totally. But for the price, they're not worth it. I'd grab them for $20, though.

      Hope that helped!

Thank you so much! You saved me a good amount of money, which I can spend on something else ridiculously overpriced. =)
